Kintsugi is the art of repairing broken vessels, it symbolises resilience, embracing imperfections and making things whole and beautiful again - fortifying them with gold. Creating this piece was quite cathartic, I was sad when the bowl cracked but remembered that my artisan journey began as art therapy (it still is) and restoration is an important part of the process. 

Black, high-gloss, textured and gold leaf. One-off design. Suitable for decorative purposes. Not suitable for food. Wipe dust with dry cloth.
